Singer, actor and now designer Donald Glover and adidas have teamed up to release a series titled “Donald Glover Presents.”
The first release is made up of three renditions of the adidas Originals: Continental 80, Nizza and Lacombe. All three kicks are made up of a milky white distressed canvas body. Each pair has a unique element that sets itself apart from the trio. The Continental 80 has leather edges and the markings of the Continental silhouette. The Nizza has navy blue and white laces with etches of the adidas three stripes on the side of the shoe.
The Lacombe is tied together with teal and white colored shoe laces and a three strip dotted outline.
True to the quirky feel of this collection, each shoe comes in an inside-out adidas shoe box.
Glover explained the simplicity of the shoes as a chance “…to encourage people to think about how their stories can be told on their feet.”
